Privacy Policy

Saalfa is built around privacy. This policy explains what we collect, why, and how you control it.

What we collect

• Account: your Sign in with Apple identifier (and email if Apple shares it), plus the display name and avatar you choose.
• Content: posts, replies, reactions, gifts and reports. All of it is deleted automatically 24 hours after a post is published.
• Approximate location: we use reduced-accuracy location snapped to a ~5 km grid cell, plus city and country names. Your exact location never leaves your device and is never stored.
• Technical data: basic logs needed to run the service and protect it from abuse.

What we don't do

• We never sell your data.
• We never show your name in the “Near” scope or on anonymous posts.
• There are no private messages and no people search.

Service providers

Data is hosted by Supabase (servers in Europe). Apple provides sign-in and distribution. We may use automated translation and moderation services that process post text only.

Your rights

You can edit your name and avatar in Settings and permanently delete your account inside the app (Settings → Delete account), which removes all your content. Questions: hello@saalfa.app.

Saalfa is intended for users aged 17 and over.
